The Brainerd Farmers Market at Grace

The Brainerd Farmers Market is a year-round market. It runs from 10am until 12pm on Saturdays from the first Saturday of April through the first Saturday of December. From December to April, the winter market runs from 11am - 12pm. Local Farmers present fresh naturally grown produce, farm fresh eggs, dairy and meat products. Bakers present delicious artisan breads, sweets and pastries, local makers offer home health and beauty items, and fine artist with handmade crafts round out the festive family friendly community market.

The Brainerd Community Farmers Market accepts EBT/ SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Card purchases. In addition the market also accepts cash, credit and debit card purchases. The Market matches EBT/SNAP food purchases at the market every Saturday through the season and the first Saturday of the month through the winter. SNAP recipients may bring their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards to the farmers market and obtain tokens which may be used to purchase any eligible SNAP items, including fresh, local produce, dairy products, meat products, honey, preserves, baked goods, plants used to produce food at home and much more. The first Saturday of each month during the Winter months (Dec - April) is Double Snap.

The mission of the Brainerd Farmers Market is to make local sustainably grown produce, meats, eggs and dairy products available to the Chattanooga and Brainerd community and to encourage healthy local food choices for Brainerd residents through educational and financial assistance projects for low-income market patrons. Grace Episcopal Church proudly supports local farmers.
