Spirits in the Garden
Once upon an autumn cheery, Episcopalians longed for eerie
Stories, wine, and tasty dishes, ghoulies, ghosties, black cats, witches,
Entertainments, haunted houses, chili to spill down their blouses.
To fulfill these deep-felt yearnings, see below, O minds discerning!
The Second Annual Spirits in the Garden returns to Grace on Saturday, October 25, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Admission is $25 for adults and $5 for children under 12, with a family maximum of $50. Adult admission includes three glasses of wine; there will be food a-plenty for both sophisticated and innocent palates. Entertainments include the Haunted Courtyard (courtesy of EYC), s’mores, bonfire, photo booth, story-telling; there will be entertainment inside the church for smaller children.
Tickets will be available after the services each Sunday through the date of the festivities and also through the church office for those who can’t get here on Sundays. Invite your friends, family, and amiable strangers. Should the weather take a wicked turn on October 25, the event will be moved to Sunday, October 26, at the same time.
